While the league matches of this Indian domestic cricket tournament are of 4 days, the knockout matches are of 5 days. Ranji Trophy Money to Play


If a player has played 41 or more first class matches in his career if such a player gets a place in the playing eleven he pays Rs sixty thousand per day. Fringe players who possess similar experience earn Rs 30,000 per day. Players who possess experience of 21-40 matches are paid Rs 50000 per day if they are playing in playing XI while the reserve players are paid Rs 25000.


Players who have featured in not more than 20 Ranji Trophy has been advised that they will be paid 40,000 Rupees daily for being in the playing squad.
